Anyone else disappointed? I had to remove several of my favorite mods and there's several that I wanted that I can't get now since patch 1.34 cause everyone says they won't work with it. :(

I'm not disappointed. I understand fully that it takes time to update their mods. Also, if the creator isn't updating their mods anymore, you could try contacting them and asking for permission from them so you can update their mods.

Also read MTS2:Creator Guidelines/Updates and Remixes of Broken or Abandoned Creations (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=MTS2:Creator_Guidelines/Updates_and_Remixes_of_Broken_or_Abandoned_Creations)
According to this if a mod is deemed as abanden one is free to update/change it without contacting the original creator.

Takes a bit for modders to update their mods depending on whether or not its a patch or a full EP or SP. I'm not a modder so I don't know the specifics. I know Twallan, Granthes and Pescado are usually on top of these things and update them almost by the next day - again depending on what EA's released. Are there other mods out there other than those 3 I just mentioned? Sorry but I don't use mods in my game.

It can be disappointing but hey, that's life. I usually update simple XML mods myself if I just have to have that mod and the creator hasn't updated it. But scripting mods are beyond me so I wait. :)

You could try contacting them and asking if they plan to. Maybe they were too busy to do it immediately, or were sick etc. Or simply didn't know the patch broke the mod. I don't like it when people start threads complaining about people's mods unless they first tried talking *to* the creator of that mod.
