View Full Version : Group of townie teens lagging game?

Every single time I play Sims 3, there's a groups of anywhere from 100-400 game-generated townies. They're always all teens, and it always happens in the exact same place, across from the first household I load after creating a new neighborhood. They make the game unbearably slow, and about every five minutes I have to use NRaas to delete them, only to have the game regenerate them. I've tried getting rid of everything, nothing works. I've deleted cache files, reinstalled, started new neighborhoods, and I discovered it only happens in Sunset Valley. Any ideas?

:alarm: EDIT: I only have the base game and generations, I play with both aging and story progression off.

You have a stuck Sim, and all the others are complaining of that Sim possibly blocking the way.
Done resetsim *?

It's not one stuck sim, because after I use Total Annihilation on NRaas, they all go away. And there's far too many to reset every single one, only to have them regenerate a few minutes later.

Have you gone through every step of the game problem faq: http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Sims_3_Game_Problem? If not, you should do so.

ellacharm3d's suggestion was to use "resetsim *", inluding the asterisk, which in this case means "all", resetting ALL Sims in town.
And before totally annihilating them, have you perhaps checked who those Sims are, whether they are, for example, residents or Service NPCs (babysitters)?
