I know this question has probably been asked before, so if it has bare with me and please tell or direct me to the right place.

I just downloaded an update that place two new expansion icons next to the one at the bottom of the start-up window. One of the them has to do with Kate Perry, the other has to do with Diesel. Once the download completed I started the game through the last expansion I loaded, "Showtime". The showtime window comes up, but it will not load past it.

Does anyone know how to uninstall the last update, or how to fix the loading probrlm.

The loading stalls at the loading screen, no crashings?

Download which update? The 1.36 patch? Via Launcher or manual update?
If manual, Incremental or the Superpatcher? Just downloaded the update? Did you double-click on it to run the update?
