Stuck and floating deck tile?

When demolishing my legacy house, which I built on top of a deck (it was supposed to be a mini house on wheels) One of the deck pieces wouldn't delete. I can't force error it or anything.

The SOR is a buyable object (yellow box - costs 1 simolean) that you place on the tile. When you go into live mode, it activates and removes anything sitting that tile that prevents the tile from being deleted.

Be careful using this tool in areas where there's more stuff, because it effects surrounding tiles as well. So if you use it next to a wall, for instance, remove artwork, windows, doors, phones, etc. from the wall beforehand, if you don't want them deleted. Definitely make sure no sims are close by.
