View Full Version : WCIF: Fixed Peggy Hairs?

I understand some Peggy hairs have been have been blamed for lag and corruption. I have no idea how accurate that is but to be safe I disable the few Peggy hairs I had. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether anyone's posted "fixed" hairs made by her somewhere...ones that have been deemed safe...do they exist?
I'm aware of Anubis's blog. But are there others? Has anyone continued to have problems with the fixed hairs?

I have had problems with peggyzone hairs too. The retextures with meshes included are the ones to get for the hairs, if such a state.

There are a few different types of problem associated with Peggy hairs. Some of her child and toddler hairs don't work at all, and no-one has been able to fix them. Some cause poor performance because the poly counts are insanely high, and that can be fixed, but there's no-one who's fixing that problem and uploading fixed versions. There are also lots of Peggy hairs with missing morphs and LODs, and with incorrect settings which make the textures look weird; these don't cause game performance problems, they just make the hairs look a bit crap - you can download versions with those problems fixed from creators like Anubis and the others Koolhira mentioned. :)
I've never heard of Peggy hairs causing corruption or anything like that, and I can't see how that would work, but there may well be other problems I haven't heard of.

littlecat fixed some of the hairs for toddlers (peggy mesh/other people's retextures)
