cant get downloads off of winrar?

ok.. so I click the download tab and it goes on winrar.. but this shows up

ive downloaded from here before... but only some outfits but what im trying to download is a mod :(

I download from other places and instead of that icon next to the words I get the sims3 icon and all I have to do is click it and it downloads to my game..

can somebody please help me :!: :!: :!: :!:

I'm having problems understanding your problem. So you open the RAR file and it contains the package file that you want. What's the problem? Why can't you just extract the package file to your Download folder?

I did that, it doesnt show up on the game.. its this mod

and it says that it should be in buy mode.. but it isnt on my game

Have you done everything else that needs to be done for CC?

Read the Install CC FAQs - all under the Help menu.
And if you still need help, post in the Sims 3 Help section. This is for Hardware and (non-Sims) Software section.
I'm supposing you also didn't read the Announcement? Well, another advise is to also make sure you've read our Site Rules and Guidelines under Site menu. :)
