I am using the maxis shortshorts female adult mesh as start point

I did all the things in simpe and milkshape to make my mesh, it showed
completly fine in bodyshop and worked proper in game.

But now everytime i try to take the shortshorts female adult mesh as start point
The new custom mesh will override all other meshes i made with the shortshort as start point.

I've no idea where this problem originates, any help will be appreciated!

Did you give your new project a new name (different from your other custom meshes)? Did you do Fix Integrity? That's an easy step to forget, and not doing it will cause your mesh to override things.

yup i tried it i repeated the whole process with deleting everything in my downloads folder.
I also tried it with another maxis base as start point but that one exactly behaves the same :(

this whole thing is driving my crazy, i started completly with a empty download folder and an empty saved sims folder
i'm sure i did Fix Integrity and made sure the names weren't allike
I started a new project with the shortshorts finished tested in game it works all good.
i started another project with the shortshorts put it into bodyshop and this new mesh overwrites the other meshes i made
i also tried it with another bottom mesh and it behaved the same.

I'm sure the meshes have nothing in common but the start and the filename / blocklist thing that i always
change back to default as it said in a tutorial.

If someone would be so keen to check my files i would be realy greatful (:
you can leave me a note so i can forward the files.

pretty sure you either forgot to fix intigrity or the linking went wrong(still a replacement)
ill have a look at the files if you like.

i tried linking again in a new recouler file but i realy can't get it normal,
maybe i'm not saving things in simpe correctly although
i'm sure i went over every little detail in the beginner tutorial for a couple of times now :(

here are the files: http://www.mediafire.com/?rphc7tdzo4dvenx
The two meshes are labeled the other two are the matching recouler files

i'm not in a rush or anything, i'm already realy happy that you want to help
so take your time

You haven't fix the integrity on both mesh files.

-open the meshfile with Simpe.
-click Tools/Object Tools/Fix Integrity.
-Give it a unique name in the popup window(top box).
-click update.
-click OK.
-Save your file.

Relink the mesh to your recolour file

Repeat these steps for the other mesh/recolour.
