Dynamic Challenge: Spring Training

I hadn't logged on to EA's servers from my sims game for a while, but last night I had reason to open the launcher (*gasp*) and wound up logged on, and afterwards was surprised to find a sims3pack in my downloads folder that I hadn't put there: dynamicchallenge_6cceedc0abea44a7a8da181fabb48f2d.sims3pack .

A little poking around (with help from Grant, thanks Grant!) revealed that this is a time-limited achievement. Some of the contents:

Just curious as to whether anybody has completed this, what it required, and who thinks having sims3packs force-fed without consent is a rather clumsy way to implement this idea, which is not in itself a bad one ;)

yes i did it...but never noticed the packfile....until many hours later....plus a new numbers folder...my god theres enough to keep track of without more of these...
what was wrong with the other way of doing the achievements anyhow??...!!

Training badge for your Sims. Available until August 12th. Players on the EA Forum are saying all ya gotta do is get a Sim to jog a long way or use the treadmill to earn it.

Marathon Runner
Run a distance of 500 kilometers to allow your Sims a longer lifespan. This only works through the treadmill and jogging. Note that you can knock out this challenge along with fitness nut by doing either of these options, so it's usually the best option to complete the challenges quickly.

I haven't logged into the EA servers so I don't have the s3pack file for it.

So what did it involve? just working out a lot? And what was the reward?

i was in LP at the time....just had my sim jog from 1 side of town to the other twice...and got it...no reward...just an achievement added to your Sims 3 account

I just got it when my sim completed a workout on the treadmill.

I got that challenge badge also, but didn't know what it was about. It didn't have much of a description except the title. Wonder what it unlocked, just the badge?

My once curvy, beautiful sim has lost her weight because of the dumb workout opportunity for celebrities. She had 4 in a row. I guess my game doesn't like big, curvy sims. After the 4th workout opportunity, I got the notification about the badge.

the new one is about catching 5 certain fish....then boasting about it.....but all i had to do
was catch the fish....
