Hey there.

I've only recently started playing the Sims, and started downloading custom content yesterday using the Helper Monkey to install .package files. They seemed to be working fine this way, but when I wanted to install the nraas dresser mod to rotate through outfits I learned that I had to move on to the "new way". I've followed all the instructions on the wiki, read help pages over and over, but for some reason I just can't get it to work. I've been testing with the nointro package, but every time I load my game, be it full screen or windowed, I still get that bloody intro. Any help would be much appreciated.

The Sims 3: Gameversion = 1.2.7

I'm running 64bit Windows 7 and have already tried restarting my computer, clearing the cache and making sure all the old Monkey-related files are gone, including the appdata folder.

Thanks for your time.

You're on version 1.2 - current version is 1.36. You need to update your game. The "new way" only works with 1.12 and later, and any current mods are going to be built for 1.36.

...ah, I see my mistake now. >_> I thought that 1.12 was 1.1.2, meaning my 1.2 was a later version and supposed to work. Sorry about that, will patch now and see if it works, thanks!

Worked like a charm, can't believe I missed that, haha. Thanks again for the (extremely fast) help, feel free to archive this topic now. :)
