My custom neighbor hood disappeared

I followed all the instructions to install the ep. When I went to play the game, my neighborhood was gone. I put it back in with the back up of the sims2 folder I had made. It shows in the files but not in the game. I went into simpe and pulled up the neighborhood, got this:

Does this mean what I think it means? My computer needs more ram? I have 512 and my hard drive is only 60% full. I'm pulling my hair out here, that's the neighborhood with all my sims I've started since the game came out. I have them backed up but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Help and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Okay, you know what?

There is a BIG GIANT STICKY IN YELLOW saying "Do NOT post Sims 2 questions here!"

What do you do? Post a Sims 2 question.

Please read the forum descriptions AND the stickies in future.

I'm moving this out of Site Tech Support and into Sims 2 Tech where it belongs.
