Expanding Your Property Lot

I would like to know if there is a way to expand an excisting lot? I have used up most of my property and would like to add another lot next to it and combine the together making one.
Is there a way of doing this?

Yup....I have hoped for such an option too but haven't found one yet. I hope it will be possible with the coming ex packs.
