Packages question

Okay,

Very new to this and I have read just about everything on here (I think) tutorial wise over the past few weeks.

However, I have a couple of questions that appear to be "Generaly Known" and therefore not discussed concerning packages.

1. When I create custom content, I have no problem using it within my game, but how do I "package" it for others to use?

For instance, genetics (skins, eyes, hair, etc)

I do find a "package" file within my SavedSims folder, is this the file that people are passing around as thier "Package"?

2. If this is indeed the file, how do I go about renaming it (can I remane it).

I ask because currently naming convention in this folder is along the lines of: aslkdfhsdlkfjskahjdfkjsdhlfas9f607f89640875y234hg50873rf56sd976tog345pb3p0t9e60t78ert0e987tye6dfs_Eyes_Brown_Dark.package
I have seen packages (and downloaded a few, that are NOT named like this, and are more managable. So I guess the question is, how do I rename the package file (once I find the correct one for uploading?)

That should do it for now, If I can get answers to these questions I have about 30 different eyes (realistic) I can upload :)

Yes, the package file in the savedsims folder is the one you use and you can rename it. You can rename it however you want but don't make it too long though. Use letters or combinations of letters and numbers. The file extension, i e .package can't be changed. If you want to upload it here you also need to compress it to a zip or rar file. :)
