Hi everybody! :howdy:
I've searched the forums and I know many people have had a problem with blurry skins. The general answer seems to be either "get a better video card" or "adjust the video settings in the game" but neither of those answers make sense for me because not every skin is blurry in CAS or while playing the game - it's only the user made, adult female nightgowns!
All the Maxis skins look fine, including the nightgowns.
All the user made skins look fine ... except for the nightgowns. :confused:
I've recolored many skins myself and they all look great in TS2 Body Shop, in CAS and while playing the game. Even the adult female nightgowns look great in TS2 Body Shop, but when I import them into the game, they look blurry. Usually, it's just the lower section of the nightgown (the lace and the area just above that.) The problem occurs with the nightgowns I recolored and the nightgowns I downloaded from various sites.
I checked the recolored files after they were imported into the game. They are the same size and the same resolution as the original Maxis files. I don't compress the files when I save them. If I recolor any other type of skin it looks fine in the game, but if I use the same exact settings to save a recolored female nightgown, it looks blurry. :err:
Any suggestions?
By the way, I have University if that makes a difference.
