how to make maternity clothing??

hi

i wanted to make nice maternity clothing anf allready have seen some in the exchange of thesims2.com ... i thought that i only have to save the clothing as pyjama in the body shop and it works when the sim is pregnant and change clothing to pyjama but in the game it doesnt work...:cry:

so what should i do?

Trying to change the maternity clothing is not a simple task.

Here is some info about how someone used a dress skin and tom's clothing tester.

This person did something that doesn't need a cheat, or so they say, there's quite a discussion there about getting the sims to actually wear the clothing.

You can search for things yourself by using advanced search, putting in 'maternity' and then looking over in the right column and selecting the downloads area only as the area to search. There are quite a few outfits with varying discussions about how to get them to work in your game.

All I do is get my pregnant sims to plan her undies or pj's outfit. Then change into undies or pj's then put the thinking cap (helmet thing) on. She then changes into whatever I planned. Then I just get her to take the cap off. :)
