I am about to flip a table or something because my sims are visiting china atm and literally the ONLY THING THEY WANT TO DO IN TOWN is swim in the pools. I googled for a no swimming mod but the one I found apparently doesn't work (it states it's not compatible with EP4, whichever that one is) Another one I found had a dead link, sadly.

It's gotten to the point where I don't want them to be anywhere near the town because of it, and some of my sims like to be friendly.

First link leads to a 404 error when you try to download, and yes I did try it.

The second one is only for Night Life, apparently--I don't have that. I only have Amibitions, World Adventures and Pets.

I finally did come up with my own solution by editing the town and putting a fence around the entire pool sections, but that's not going to help me in other files, and I hated to have to do it.

TwoftMama at SimsAsylum has a mod that disables Autonomous swimming (registration needed). The version that disables the behaviour on community lots comes packaged with other tunings however (No Autonomous Athletic Pack 3 v7). Maybe this will work for you?
