Sims 4 won't open, help?
I didn't play for several days and somehow over this period of time the sims decided to stop working. No matter how I try to start it up, it gives me this popup in the picture below. It's not even words, and I have no idea what it means. I've tried everything I can think of aside from uninstalling and installing again. I removed all the custom content I installed today, thinking maybe that could be the problem but it didn't help.
If someone could help me out somehow that'd be great, this is really frustrating and I'm ready to throw my boyfriend's computer off the balcony. Thanks!

Well I would uninstall and reinstall but that's me....Have you opened origin gone into My Games right clicked on The Sims 4 And chosen Repair? if not well try that.
If that does not work your looking at a re install.....Sorry but there is no quick fix...

I just did a Google search of the long error code and the top error code with asterisk (not sure why you didn't) and found this...... Looks like a reinstall of Origin and Sims 4 coming your way.....

Here is another link you may want to try first....It has a suggestion of some things you can do before a reinstall.....

http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/0...t-reinstalling/

Someone also said it was due to Sims 3 CC being in their mods folder (same error code) once they removed it their game started....

That could be possible, I removed some other cc just in case. If that doesn't fix it I'll try those steps, if that doesn't work either then it looks like I'm reinstalling lol.

EDIT: It was sims 3 cc, it was this. I guess I didn't pay attention, but it was on a sims 4 website so idk. Whatever though, it works fine now.

Well I'm happy that you didn't have to do a reinstall..... And I agree that some sites are not quite clear on weather the download is Sims 4 or earlier....I have downloaded many things that appear on a Sims 4 page but end up being for Sims 3 but as I always check before putting it into my game I have never had your issue happen (Yet...)
