I just want to know if these forums are going to remain alive or are they going to slowly fade away?

I, for one, have already left the site and resolved to never post again.

This site and it's forum have been around for about ten years, I remember coming here eight or ten years ago.

That's a very reasonable assumption.

the reason I was asking this that I was a member of File Front's site. I have Star Trek Armada's 1&2, Star Trek elite force's 1&2 Starfleet Command 3 Star Trek Leagacy and Star Trek Bridge Commander. They all have had a good run and now they are fading out. I hoe that this does not happen here.

Given that the TS2 forum is still active 5 years after EA stopped making stuff for it, and there is still a TS1 forum that has activity, I expect it will be a while before this forum fades away. So you're not too late to the party, after all.

*grabs crystal ball* nah sorry can't predict the future.

Well that depends if people, including yourself post doesn't it? If you want to keep the place jumping start posting more. If you mean the Sims 3 forums, they seem well posted to, but as a sims 2 player I post mostly on the Sims 2 side. I think my posts alone could keep a small ship afloat.

Also I've never heard of File Front so it can't have been that huge to start with.

Filefront was a chaotic enormous community, putting together many videogames; now they can be classified as old, like "call of duty 4", "warhammer 40k: Dawm of war" aaand many, many others: it was very useful for many free mods and maps. It was an amazing resource of great stuff for me whe playing Dawn of War and CoD4.
But Modthesims is much more reliable i say.

Ah, all websites die out in the end, one way or another, much like most communities. Who knows when that'll happen in the simming world. I'd just enjoy it all for as long as it lasts and not worry too much about the future of what is, after all, a fun hobby.

Nah, you only feel that way because no amount of doilies can warm up your cold, black heart. Is no wonder, though, since the admins took your soul to keep the server hamsters warm that run MTS.

I used to visit a site that showed bizarre medical emergency incidents and shocking oddities years ago and they sold out to a pron site.

He doesn't understand that he's the one who has the power to stop it. He simply can't imagine that one little boy could be that important.

I wouldn't put a lot of effort into getting it transported.
