Judge 1: The front is very charming and inviting. Nicely decorated. I love the front yard. I'd do something more with the upstairs hall. I don't think that's the best place to paint - too dark. Perhaps make a mini study area.
Judge 2: Great decoration and use of outdoor space however the inside on the upper floor looks slightly under-furnished. (Additional note: I'm not sure if it was intentional but the ground floor wood tiles appear to have been rotated so that they don't line up effectively)
Judge 3: What I like is how you turned it from a more traditional house into a modern Victorian. Your exterior is interesting and I love your choice of windows and door and with the amazing mix of wall coverings you have used on the outside, you made this house interesting combined with the simple garden, although I would have expected to see more landscaping but not over the edge. I also expected you to take this exterior beauty into the interior. Your choice of wall in the interior is great but my only reservations were the floor tiles. The Black floor masked the beauty of your bedrooms and the wooden tile in the floor level were off because of its huge tiling . One with smaller tiling would have been lovely…..I love the bathroom
Judge 1: I like the master bedroom colors and paintings and I like the lighter Tudor exterior paint job. the yard needs more decorative landscaping - more scrubs or flowers perhaps
Judge 2: The colour choices are great and everything in each room matches, although there are a few blank spots inside and out that look a bit bare.
Judge 3: I am sure by now you would have known how to take your screen shots without the lines showing. What I like about your house is the modernization of a traditional house. The exterior walls are good but I would have changed the color of the roof. Your modern approach to the interior is good and I love the use of different colors in the furnishing especially in the bed rooms. My only reservations are the empty space on climbing up the stair. It would have looked better with a little deco. I would have expected more landscaping too
Judge 1: I like the flowers on the mantle and thnat you've utilized the upper hall. The house seems lonely - like only 1 person will ever be in it. I'd place another chair closer to the couch in the living area - a conversation place.
Judge 2: Love the black and purple style throughout! (It looks nice and contemporary.) The interior could do with a bit more thought with liveability, floor style choices. (eg. only one single bed for the entire house)
Judge 3: The pictures of the interior floor plan overhead shots and the exterior one have a very high angle and this makes it really hard to have a feel of the house. Having bigger and close up screen shots will be good since it makes things clearer. Also try turning the shadows option off in your graphics setting. For a change I love that you moved the kitchen to the top floor. I love that idea but I would think the telescope would have been better outdoors. I also think that one thing that can make a huge difference in your decorating is to pay attention to the colors you use. The colors in this house are a little dull and all the rooms tend to be the same wall and floor color. One way you can overcome this is to vary at least three different colors in a room.
Judge 1: I like the way you've extended the kitchen and utilized the dead space by the dining area window and filled it with flowers. the upstairs master bedroom - that's a differnt way to create a closet. I like the backyard flower fountain area. I'd like to see some flowers or decor on the dining table. and some more in the outdoors and perhjaps a counter sink in the downstairs bathroom - There is room for a shower also.
Judge 2: This is a very nicely decorated home suitable for a starting family. My only concern is a few overlapped, off grid, and angled objects. (eg. couch, mirror & sink in upstairs bath)
Judge 3: This is a very nice entry and with a nice exterior. I like how you combined the siding wall with the stucco on the front. The interior is pretty good, but I think there is some room for improvement. The landscaping is also really nice. I love the flower bed at the front and I love that you also had the kids in mind with that play area with the swing outdoor. I am not a fan of the wooden floor. Its tiling is too big and using a different color of floor for the bedrooms would have been lovely. I like the kitchen very much but for that wooden floor tile.
Judge 1: I really like the downstairs decor. It is invitingand comfortable looking. While I like the little fenced garden area in back, I'd like to see more landscaping on the rest of the grounds.
Judge 2: This house has great decoration, inside and out, with functionality in mind. It looks like your light distribution could be improved though. (eg. there are 2 lights in the tiny kitchen but only a tiny lamp in the huge living area & none in the dining area, unless of course I didn't see correctly)
Judge 3: I love your screen shots. It shows it all. I love the house, though I do not like the stone wall in the front, but combined with that wooden wall and the windows came out just fine. The interior is just amazing. I like the way you combined all your furnishing to give the interior a consistent look. I would have loved to see more landscaping
Judge 1: I like the exterior colors, That front garden is very cute, especially the Japanese stone lamp. I would expect a few more wallhangings/pictures, etc., in several of the rooms.
Judge 2: Decoration is consistent and nice to look at despite some cheaper furniture choices. The stain glass window doesn't really fit the theme the staircase has a nice open feel but looks like it would break in real life.
Judge 3: This is a really interesting redecoration that you did. I love and love that orange siding wall and I like your use of bright colors. The exterior is just awesome and what I like was you taking that outside beauty into the interior of the house. I particularly like the kitchen. The bright orange feel could easily be garnished anywhere and it just makes the kitchen and the rest of the house cool. I also like the color combination in the living room and I love how the orange color faded a little when you move from the floor level to the upper level. Those two bedrooms are lovely and the bathroom is one to die for. The landscaping is just simple and nice
Judge 1: nice screen shots of the interior. You've made the home seem cozy and inviting. I like the way you've tamed the Tudor exterior. It is pleasant to look at with the climbing vines. I'd like to see more with the landscaping. An attractive pond has floating plants and surrounding shrubbery perhaps a bench in the shade of that big tree.
Judge 2: The exterior looks very nice with a picture perfect front view. The interior just looks slightly bare. (If you look at the floor plan screen shots you'll notice there are a few blank spots)
Judge 3: The choice of brick wall combined with the paint and paste stucco with wood wall gave the exterior a nice image. I like the fact that you blended the terrain to match that of the surrounding. I would have loved to see more landscaping to compliment this great exterior look of the house. I like the decoration in the interior and I love the bedroom. Like the combination of the two wall papers used there. Though contrasting, they produced a welcome atmosphere in there. That little deco shelf under the stair with brick color compliments the dining and I like how the color flows into the kitchen and I love the kitchen
Judge 1: You've really captured the 'beachy' feel with your decor. I LOVE the pond! and where did you get your couch CC? I'd perhaps place a dining counter in the kitchen. The plans are too far away to see well. It looks like the upper hall is empty
Judge 2: antastic decoration inside and out with great use of space! (The pond especially tops it off.) Some interior screenshots show just a bit too much ceiling and the roof texture could have been changed to perhaps a light grey to match the beach theme.
Judge 3: The windows and door chosen for the house are a perfect complement to each other. At first I thought the exterior outdoor wall cover choice combination did not blend, but with that landscaping so good the beauty of the outdoor can well be seen. I love your interior but from the way you placed the dining there will be a problem for the sims to use the chair at the inner wall
Judge 1: I like your little Pets area in the upper halway. The boys room seems very appealing to children... I'd place some barrier plants around the dining area so it's not right out in the open, exposed to wind and the neighbors.... unless of course, you want to invite the neighbors.
Judge 2: The interior styling is very nice and have kept in minds the functionality for a family. The exterior however could do with a bit more street appeal. (eg. there are a few mis-matched items such as the staircase)
Judge 3: I love the siding on this house. The green siding is very creative and makes the house stand out. The contrast between it and the siding at the top and foundation is also interesting. Your choice of door and window are interesting and go well with the house. I would recommend more landscaping.
Judge 1: It's an interesting color scheme downstairs. I like your yellow couch. I like the play area in the girls room. the spoiler is written this way: [ spoiler ] images go here [ /spoiler ] minus the spaces.
Judge 2: The exterior on this house looks great! However there is no pic of the master bedroom and all exterior + floor plan shots need improvement.
Judge 3: One small issue that can sometimes cause a lot of problem is that the pictures on this entry are really small in size, and it makes it hard for me to clearly see everything clearly. For instance, I cannot make out what you have in the adjacent room to the kids room on the top floor. I would suggest to take better and bigger pictures. Apart from this the children room looks nice and I like that you considered they need to plane fun as well and so you planed the room for this
Judge 1: surprisingly modern exterior. I like the kitchen to dining area tile segway. The interior is nicely decorated with a consistent color scheme. I'd like to see more landscaping. There are many things you could do in the yard space that goes well with a modern theme.
Judge 2: Extremely nice modern styling & functionality inside and out! The landscaping just looks slightly bare (perhaps some trees or shrubs surrounding the house seeing you had plenty of cash left to spare. Any leftover cash can always go to landscaping or decorating.)
Judge 3: This is another blending of the lot to the surrounding terrain. Love the exterior of the building and the choice of windows used. I like your interior and particularly the flow of the color combination of your furnishings. Your choice of modernity was plain and lovely and the wall and floor tiles combination was good. I love the feel of the floor level especially the sitting area and liked the transition of the wooden tiles into the dining and kitchen tile. Just more landscaping would be nice
Judge 1: I like the exterior facade color scheme with the ivy, very attractive. The interior decor is very attractive and upscale. I'd like to see more landscaping. It is barren away from the house.
Judge 2: Interior and exterior styling looks very very nice on this house with realistic furnishings. Only thing missing here is a bit more landscaping. (What you already have is great, I would just like to see a bit more of it.)
Judge 3: I love the combinations of colors and wall for the exterior of the house. I could hear my head shouting modern Victorian. I love the furnishings and how you combined them to give a lasting memory to the mind. I really like the teen room. My suggestion is more landscaping.
Judge 1: I like the terracota color scheme. The outdoor fire and the wine glasses are a nice touch. I'd like to see some kind of half wall around the outdoor dining area or perhaps a trellis shade structure of some sort.
Judge 2: The styling inside and out is very nice whilst keeping with the theme. The inside could do with some additional furniture or decorations which the extra cash you had left over could have been used on.
Judge 3: I like the blend between the milky color of the exterior with the door and window. I am really not a fan of that window with shutter for this house. I think the landscaping needs some work too. I like the spacing in the interior combined with the decorations but there are still empty spaces that could do with some furnishing while still maintaining the need for movement space for the Sims (you still have more than 8,000 to spend). I like that you tried to maintain the same color from the outside for the indoor it would have looked nicer combined with other colors.
Judge 1: I like your little garden in back and the burnt-orange paint. The front landscaping is nice too. I'd like to see something more in the upstairs hall. I'd like to see you extend your landscaping into the outer areas of the lot.
Judge 2: Very nice decorating throughout with well finished landscaping. The landing area upstairs looks a bit empty and bathroom tiles don't quite match the rest of the house.
Judge 3: I love the orange color of the wall and combined with another color would have been really good. I love your choice of window. Though the choice of door is good, the color is off with the windows. I like your interior and I like the consistency in blend of colors between the walls, floor and the furnishings. Using the (-) key to zoom out to have a wider area captured for the interior image would be good. The landscaping is okay but I would like to see more effort into it like the rest of the interior.
Judge 1: the open under stairway opens the whole area nicely. I like the excercise area upstairs. Good use of that space. The color scheme is pleasant. While I like your kitchen CC, I think you need some counter space next to the sink and stove . It would be very difficult to cook in that kitchen because there is no prep area and no place to dump 'Oops! HOT HOT' stuff onto a hotplate.
Judge 2: The build item choices for the exterior work perfectly together and the interior decorating is a job well done! My only problem is there's nothing too interesting outside to do or to look at.
Judge 3: Apart from the landscaping, I simply love this house. I like the flow of the decoration and furnishing from the ground floor to the bedrooms. I love the little fitness area and so much like the children bedroom. The choice of door, window and wall paints is just a breath of fresh air.
Judge 1: I really like your interior CC and colorscheme. Very nice. and that llama head over the mantle Too funny! I would like to see more landscaping in the yard, perhaps a somewhat secluded or protected dining area rather than right out in the open.
Judge 2: The styling for the interior and exterior look very nice with functionality. I'm just concerned about doors you've blocked off. (I can understand why you've blocked them off, however seeing they are part of the house you should try and use them. It's part of the challenge in my opinion.)
Judge 3: Love the exterior look of the house. The brick base foundation adds a little flavor to it. Though the landscaping seems okay a little more effort in landscaping would be nice. I like the study and especially the teen room. Just a close resemblance to my coz room. The area at the top of the stair could have been good with a little deco there
Judge 1: I like the exterior color scheme and the little fenced walkway. The living room has a nice color scheme. I think you could add somethign to the upstairs hall to better utilize the space. While the little fenced garden area next to the house is very cute, I'd like to see you extend that to the out perimeter of the yard.
Judge 2: A very interesting decorating job both inside and out. (I like what you've done with the random flower choices and a neat little path). The main bedroom just looks a little boring and the sky doesn't set the friendliest of moods.
Judge 3: I really like the exterior. The house exterior is broken up in an interesting manner by the different types of walls used and it has this appeal consistent with modern style. I think the combination of the wall covers would have looked nicer if they run vertical. I love the little landscaping of the flowers going round the house. I love the black color of the windows and the swing Victorian door. My only concern was the bay window at the top. It would have looked lovelier with same color with others. While the interior is nice (I especially like the mirror floor), it definitely adds something to the dining room and kitchen area and gives the house personality I still think the inner walls could use a bit of wall paintings. I would suggest making full use of the 10 images you can show. It will go a long way to show more of your work and having a closer overhead shot would be nice.
Judge 1: I really like the way you've sheltered your outdoor dining area. It gives it some sense of privacy while still being open. I appreciate the 'breakfast' room but I think it's a mistake to remove the downstairs restroom. I'd like to see more pictures on the wall or some kind of decor.
Judge 2: A nicely decorated home with plenty of usable spaces. (Including a pool area!). For only a 2 bedroom house I probably would have avoided having two dining rooms and putting that extra room to better use.
Judge 3: I think you did a great job decorating the interior. The house looks airy and cozy and has a specific style though out the indoor. I think varying the floor tiles in each room would be great. I particularly like the teen and baby room. The outside is quite good and I liked how you combined the siding wall and stone wall. Your choice of door and window are nice, but would have been better without the little medieval one. Landscaping is good but could do with more.
Judge 1: I really like your internal decor andcolor scheme. Very pleasing to the eye. I would like to see more landscaping throughout the yard.
Judge 2: Nice decoration style with an interesting garden! You won't be penalized for not using the extra §10,000 but you might lose points if that money isn't put to good use. (If you've finished off your house with cash left over, there's always places where it can be spent such as additional landscaping.
Judge 3: I simply like everything about the exterior of your building. Your choice of wall, door and window are just good. For the exterior more landscaping will do. I like the style of your interior decoration and like the blend in the mix match of colors because it makes it eye catchy. I love the two bedrooms and I would recommend having the top down view of the floor image taken with the walls up
Judge 1: the medieval decor is very well done. I like the way you turned the fireplace into the kitchen stove. I understand that your wealthy medieval sims don't spend much time outdoors but I think there would have been a herb garden or a groundskeeper to maintain the place if they were wealthy. Perhaps with a little, 1 room groundskeeper hut in the rear of the lot. (I know, she said you could not build more living areas, but in general...)
Judge 2: Superb decorating and interesting use of space. (I particularly like the attention to detail such as the ceiling tile choice and room arrangements). The kitchen looks just a touch small for great functionality and this is just a personal pick but I wouldn't usually put two singles next to each other.
Judge 3: Simply traditional throughout and I like the consistency with the decoration. Love the choice of fire place and the arrangement style. I like the simple exterior and would like to see more landscaping.
And the lot for Round 1...is 45 Bard Boulevard. Round 1 will end Friday April 5th at 11:59:59 PM EST.
That house is kinda pricey, Phae. I think I can figure something out for Strangetown, it's just a very intimidating 'hood
