1: The texture is very distorted. This may be due to the texture itself, or it may be due to the UV mapping of the mesh. If the mesh is your own work, you can reduce/eliminate the distortion by making sure that the UV map is appropriate - check the scaling of your mesh pieces and check out
this tutorial. If you've used someone else's mesh, you will need to edit the textures to fit the mapping, so that they are smooth and even across the mesh.
