That's gonna be pretty hard since there hasn't been a word said about racoons being in the game.

Doubt if ya could catch it... I suppose you could sorta fence it in and leave it at that...

Hopefully modders will be able to make a skunk ownable after the release :D

It sounds plausible via hacks. Once everyone knows the animations, sounds, etc. they can start making completely new pet meshes et al, and since the skunk will already have most of what's required, it probably won't be particularly hard to make it a pet. But like everyone else has said, it's all about waiting and seeing what we're able to do.
