Did anyone watch it? I thought it was awesome, it was very funny and can't wait for tonight's episode. Three episodes isn't enough though (I know they're really long though) I hope they make more. For anyone who doesn't know, it's a modern day setting of Sherlock Holmes. I've never read any of the Conan-Doyle books (only seen the Guy Richie film) so I don't know how much they've changed. Watson is still in it, they still live in Baker Street and (without giving the first ep away) he still has enemies. What did you guys think? |

I kinda figured out last nights, that the cipher was a Chinese character of some sort, but that was about it. I'm not normally that good at figuring things out, so I'm pretty pleased with myself. :P |

I thought they were both amazing! In the first one he fell for it, he was going to take the pill! I'm someone who then shouts at the T.V -Don't do it Sherlock!- I liked the Sherlock Holmes film, but i love the fact the episodes are set in modern times, it relates to todays issues more than the older ones. I loved the line -Is this a real eye? I found it in the microwave- |

I was going to watch it, then I realised that I really couldn't be bothered. At all. In the slightest. I watch enough TV on Sundays as it is. Well, now Top Gear's finished... No, one hour of Young, Dumb and Living Off Mum is more than enough. |

hollie - It's an experiment. And the bits with the cop the Sherlock doesn't like, his name escapes me.Zinthos, you'd love it! It's kinda like Dr Who, only without the aliens. And also, it's better. And funnier. Can't believe there's only one left though. |

I found ut funny how much sherlock reminded me of Tom Baker. If he brings out the jelly beans I'm calling it. :P Good show, although I've only seen about half-episode at the moment. |

He actually really reminded me of Matt Smith, but I think it was the writing more than anything. He said something like "What did I miss, what did I miss?" And Matt Smith says that at least once. That, and him being an eccentric genius. Apparently Sherlock Holmes was the inspiration for Dr. Who though (according to my Dad, but I'm not sure where he got that from.) |

Hey guys, if you're spotting Doctor Who similarities, it's because Stephen Moffat wrote the script for Sherlock as well as the new Doctor Who! I have to say, I've read all the Arthur Conan Doyle books so I'm a bit of a purist - if it ain't got bustles, it ain't got a thing! But I loved this new version - especially this Sundays episode, where Watson grapples the evils of the self-checkout machine LOVE. Sheer win. Especially as i've come close to cursing the automated machines myself a couple of times...

What did you think? I soooo can't wait for more. But WTH was up with Moriaty's voice at the end? It was so high pitched! Not at all how I'd imagined him, he seems a bit wussy. I thought he'd be more like an evil Sherlock. |

It's been confirmed for a second series! Well, pretty much http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/201...cond-series-bbc They're deciding on how many and when. I hope they make more than three this time. I can't wait, even though it will probably be ages until it's actually on. I think they filmed the first series at the beginning of 2009. |

Three more episodes confirmed - can't wait! I was hoping for more though. I guess they must just take so long to make. |
