While reading up on people's posts on this wonderful thread I stumbled upon this very intriguing world.... http://www.mysimrealty.com/WORLDS_EvansdaleCounty.html I'd really want to try it out as I'm getting tired of Good old Moonlight falls. But before I do, I'd really appreciate other people's experiences with it first. So is it a good town to be playing "Urban Legends" in? |

How bad is lag when you don't have all of the required expansion packs? I adore Evansdale County, but lack Showtime and Pets. Will that mess the world up too much? |

I now have a ridiculously long list of worlds to try. Although Grey Meadow Islands, Glendalough, Eltham's Drift, and Rinn Fada are at the top. I've been looking for a world (small-medium) with a sort of gloomy feel to it, and it looks like a couple of those may fit the bill. Thanks for all the recommendations! |

Some of these "my favorite 'insert custom made thing'" threads should really be stickies. I have been wanting to find a list like this! I wish I had known it was out there. |

It isn't perfect though as it currently has a few minor issues (as can be read on people's comments on Union Cove's page) and it requires a good computer for you to run it smoothly. But non the less UC is indeed cool. Quote:
I haven't tried Evansdale myself but it does look great doesn't it? |

People generally like to see some pictures of the world before they download. The only world that came up when I googled is this: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/162239.page Is this the same world you're recommending?

I've been downloading worlds ever since I found this awesome thread earlier today. Currently my favorite world is actually Sunset Valley(after adding a few things and stealing the school lot for myself) but I'm dying to try out Ziwa Bonde . Wild Zebras! XD |

Ziwa Bonde looks so neat! That is so different from my play style that I may need to check it out. Thanks!

I have been away from the Sims since the beginning of the year. This world definitely enhances my mood to start playing again. Thanks for sharing. |

Evansdale County is pretty cute too and I like how the developer incorporated all the expansion packs into the world, it made me wish EA could do the same. |

I like it so much, I furnished the unfurnished houses and upgraded it with a university and other odd and ends. Once I actually have some playtime, I'll try it out. Simreality worlds always seem to work well for me. My favourite is Winchester farm world. Small, but not boring. |

My story, almost exactly. I did start playing again and enjoyed every minute of it. A really rich and beautiful world, the likes of which Eaxis never managed to make. It is possible to incorporate an in-the-world university (download available at the site; it requires university rugs from MTS but that is the only CC required). Some routing problems but nothing tragic. Although it's compact there are enough empty lots (including some of the biggest ones) for future EPs. Some nice surprises. Also: I agree that this thread should be stickied. |

I really love that world. It feels wrong to inhabit it with my batshit crazy sims, but I'm doing it anyhow. I did have to make some changes to the venues to keep sims from getting stuck.

As of right now i have not found any GOOD ones. Most ive tried had issues with mapping, clipping, etc. Any you would recommend that require only Base, Late night, university, supernatural. |

I usually grow bored with EA worlds fairly quickly. They are only obtained for use of the extra content. |

I think the moderator has to do it. There should definitely be a "Best of" list for CC, though. |
