I have a question about the midlife crisis moodlet. Can it be removed from a sim with a mod such as Master Controller like a normal moodlet? I don't want all of my sims to experience it, like my anime and Harry Potter sims. I sort of want this EP but I'd like to know about this first.

I don't know if it can be turned off, but I'd like to throw out that it's more of a wish option than a moodlet. As a wish option, it can be ignored. Just don't select it and it will eventually go away. I never give in to the mid-life wishes unless I it moves the Sim forward in someway. As an example, a common wish is to have an affair. That doesn't fit what I want for most of my Sims so I ignore it and it eventually goes away. On the other hand, I might indulge their desire to get a new hairdo or outfit.

You can just ctrl-click the moodlet to make it go away like any other moodlet. You can mostly ignore it, but Sims with the moodlet do perform stressed out idle animations, and check out their wrinkles in the mirror, so just ignoring it isn't the same as getting rid of it.

Sorry for using old thread, but didn't wanted to create a new one if this one already exist. So my question is if you can do opposite thing, add midlife crisis modlet to a sim with same effect like a "natural" one? I mean, if I will add it via MC, will my sim have midlife crisis wishes?
