Previously I had no problems with custom mesh hairs or clothing, but now all custom mesh clothing shows up as nothing (no torso for shirts, no legs for pants, no feet for shoes, etc) and all custom hair shows up as bald. This affects sims in live mode who were wearing the clothes, and sims in CAS.

I had this problem previously before my game stopped functioning and I had to uninstall and reinstall everything. This time the custom meshes have never worked, however, and I'm wondering if there is a conflict with a patch or EP, and I just have to wait until the creators release an update, or if this is a problem on my end?

I have all of the EPs and SPs except for Master Suite, and am patched to the most recent version.

I've tried reinstalling the custom content to no avail, and am hoping someone out there knows how to fix this. Thanks guys!

Are these disappearing content in Sims3Pack or package format? Store content or user-made? Any other patterns to the disappearing versus the OK content, in other words? From a particular site/creator, etc etc.

You mean you tried reinstalling content in brand new, clean Sims 3 folders? And they still don't appear in a new game?
If Sims3Pack files, and if you never cleared the DCCache folder (at the very least), the .ebc/.dbc files are still corrupted and reinstalling to corrupted files don't help any.
