I am having the same issue. I cannot find out how to solve this. I have created a new mesh and I want parts of it transparent. Could someone please tell me what to do? I am having trouble.

Glasses. I do not have an expansion packs but I am patched. Does that mean something?

You should not use the glasses, take another accesoire and follow this tutorial:
