Is there anything you bought from the sim3 store that you felt was worth it? I bought the baby swing. Also the rock wall which I haven't used yet. There is a massage chair but I don't have anymore points and don't know if it is worth it. |

Everything I have from the store was gifted either online or irl by other people. And yes, it's worth it. When you aren't the one paying for it. YMMV. |

Bayside kitchen. That set has only adventages, no bad moodlet, cheap and nice looking. |

There's heaps that's worth getting, but there's nothing that's worth getting at anything over 50% off. |

I bought the Best of 2010 Collection last year. And some other collections. There was a kind of sale the last 5 five days in December. Most of the Collections for 60 Simspoints. Couldn't resist. I also bought some of the hairs that came with the African Style Collection. Some clothes too ... |

I really like Pedro's Estate door. But it never fits in with the look or feel of any lot I create. It's hard to match it with other build items, but I like it. I also use the Bayside set items frequently. |

The problem with the Pedro Estate Door and the matching furniture is there's not enough that goes with it. Bayside is a good set, yeah. The steampunk ones are okay if you're into that sort of thing, but easily replaced with community-made CC if you don't want to pay for it. Some of the CAS stuff is decent, some of it is "dude, were you high when you made that?", and some of it is just nonsensical (for instance, why does an unadorned basic kids tshirt need to be paid-for content?). The store in general is pretty hit or miss sometimes. |

The African hairstyles are a must because I play a lot of Black sims and the CC creators, like with the first couple of years with TS2, haven't really caught up with doing non-straight textured hair yet. I wasn't disappointed with them and I use the hairstyles with almost every other sim I make or is born in game. |

I also got some of those, the lack of variety in hair types we get in EPs and SPs is non-existent... and well, in overall we get only like 3-6 new hairstyles per EP/SP, of which some are so wacky you can't really use them on regular sims. EA puts all the nice, natural and normal looking hairs to the Store, so we get only the random scraps and leftovers with new games. | |
