I've been trying to delete some downloads from my Sims 2 downloads folder but every time I click on the said items to delete them I get an error message that says something like "Item Not found in [blah blah blah] folder. Verify items location and try again". I hit "try again" and the same thing happens. These items ARE on my computer because they show up when I use the start button search. Please help!

EDIT: I was told a program called Unlocker would help so I downloaded it but it can't delete them either!

EDIT 2: It seems that some of these items HAVE been deleted but they are still showing up in my downloads folder. What's going on there?

Have you tried hitting F5 to refresh your view of the Downloads folder? Win7 in particular sometimes gets "stuck" displaying files which aren't actually there any more; F5 usually fixes it.

That seems to have helped. Thank you!
