A friend of mine and long time user of MTS wrote to me in distress this morning because she couldn't login to MTS and couldn't find any help/information on the site to help her get back in, hence I am posting on her behalf. In the lost password thread Delphy says: Quote:
http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=39519 BUT there is no password link. I have logged out and checked this in 3 different browsers this morning, it says 'If you don't have an account, why no sign up now? It's free!' but there is definitely no forgot your password link. Can someone please advise me of the correct page link so I can pass it on to my friend asap, she's having MTS withdrawals... Thanks Kate | |

The Forgot your password link appears on the page that tells you the password is wrong. It only appears when you attempt to login incorrectly - it doesn't appear on the normal front page. (Just FYI the link is http://www.modthesims.info/resetpassword.php ) |

Tumblr - Yes, I have a blog. :) <Corsix> Why 'mod the sims 2' when you can mod 'mod the sims 2'? Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies. |

Thanks Delphy - that's off to a good start! Second related question - she says her username is also not recognized. Have you guys been having a clear out of old accounts? Apparently she's been trying to contact you guys but hasn't managed to get any response from anyone. |

We do occasionally prune old accouts which have no posts, and haven't been logged into for several months. If your friend suspects her account may have been deleted, the easiest way to check is to go to www.modthesims.info/member/YourAccountNameHere and see if her profile is still there. |

Of course, good to give the databases a spring clean! That should be everything, so thank you both for your prompt assistance. |
