This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures
"unable to start game, service initialization failed (0x065d0274)" what?
every time i try to install custom content (sims3packs), i get this pop up that says "unable to start game, service initialization failed (0x065d0274)"

this has been happening for a few days now, and i tried to remove some of the CC that i had installed before it started acting up, but it didn't do anything.

has this happened to anyone else? and if so, what did you do to fix it? I would hate to have to uninstall/reinstall my games (I've already had to do that a few times )

You don't need to uninstall or reinstall your game. Try deleting your cache files and possibly removing your Mods folder. Follow the instructions here.
