Default [SOLVED (: ] Game crashes when accessing Decor->Misc
Hello hopeful helpful person.

So my Game has recently started to do this annoying thing where it will crash every time I try to access misc in the decor section . I suspect it is some bad CC , but I checked it all out on Clean Installer but it all looks good.

Found some error logs-

Clean Installer will not tell you if you have bad CC.

Have you deleted your cache files yet?

If it is bad CC then you will need to do the 50/50 method to find it.

Sounds like it is some cc that is in your deco crashing your game, is your cc organized? If it is I would start by pulling out your deco folder.

If it only just started crashing you can also do sort by date and try removing the newest installed cc.

Removed all furniture items , leaving the wallpapers and the things that were working fine previously and now its fixed! I will now go re-download the decor and furniture, but this time put them in clearly labelled folders so its easier to find the culprit if it happens again. Thanks for the help guys!

Quick question, I can put my mods in subfolders within the downloads and it will still read correctly right?

Sounds like at least one of those pieces are bad. I had a kitchen counter that crashed my game, redownloading it didn't help. It's best if it still crashes to let the creator know. Mods as in hacks? We don't call furniture, hair or clothes mods. All your cc whether they are custom items or hacks should all have their own folders, most of us have tons of sub folders. Only don't sub folder too deeply or it takes the game longer to load and if the number of letters from the first to last folder gets too long the game will stop reading it.

Should do as long as you have more than the base game and the first 2 EPs (which it says above you do so you should be good to go).

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

Oh right, yeah I just meant Furniture, hair and clothes. I have a few hacks but they are easily identifiable. I will let the creator know if I identify the cause!

Try re-downloading it first though, just to be sure.
