This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, Late Night
I've downloaded content but it doesnt show up in the Launcher downloads file.
How do I get the content to show up? I've extracted it to my Sims 3 file downloads, I've put the Mods and Packages folder in. Yet, it doesn't show up in the launcher for me to install it. I know a lot of people seem to have had this issue and I've done everything I could've done as I read some other discussions involved with this. Please, I just want to play my game with some nice clothes and hairstyles. By the way, what I downloaded were Sims.

Are the files sims3packs?, sims? package files?

It tells you where which type should go.

package and sim files don't need to be installed through the launcher, you just plop them in Mods/Packages or in SavedSims, as appropriate, and they show up ingame with no further ado.
What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
