Mod for less stray pets?
Is there a mod to get less stray pets entering your lot?I usually keep a lot of trees and bushes at my lots which is known to attract wolves and it's really frustrating to always having random dogs/wolves showing up only to start destroying flowers, digging holes in the ground and tipping over trashcans etc. It would really be a lifesaver if someone could create a mod to prevent this.
Me and my sims would be forever grateful. :D

Although it's for no stray pets rather than less, Simlogical has a Pets Away sign: http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2P...ms2_Petting.htm

Thanks a lot!
Even though it seems kinda heartless to have a no pets sign (I still love the doggos! ) and I'd rather have it invisible, it's nice to know there is an option.

The Visitor Controller has more in it and maybe something you may like to use it instead. It has options on which pets to ban from the lot. http://www.simbology.com/smf/index.php?topic=17.0

There is a no-stray respawn mod: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...pic,6027.0.html
I don't know if it doesn't allow ANY strays or if it just limits the number of strays to 1, like the anti-redundancy mods.
Wolves are NPCs, not strays, according to the info in the above stray thread. So, they need the anti-redundancy mod to limit them to just one: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...hp?topic=9607.0
I do not believe either of these mods will affect what is in your current game. For strays, you could adopt then relinquish them. Then they will be in your adoption pool and not running on the streets. No idea what, if anything, you can do for the wolves.
I also saw this mod. I haven't used it, but it might be helpful: http://modthesims.info/d/459310
So many things to learn; so few brain cells to process the info needed to learn things!

Cyjon made a No Wolves fix.
As explained above, Wolves are NPC's, not strays. Not only will there always be at least one wolf (and one Leader of the pack), but if one is already on your lot and the game feels like it, it can generate a second one, even with Pescado's anti-proliferation hacks!
I don't think strays will ruin your garden if you don't greet them, as wolves do, so this should be enough.
Maybe they ruin the flowerbeds? I wouldn't know because I've been using this mod since forever.
(Also I haven't tested Cyjon's mod, I just clear wolves off the lot when I see them, using the Sim Blender.)
