I've tried everything. It's absolutely driving me crazy.
I boot up my laptop - I launch the game after a little browsing on tumblr, only to realize the graphics settings have yet resetted once more.
After I change them it is all good and I can close and launch the game all I want with no changes in the settings.
That is, until I turn off the laptop, go to bed, and the next day the entire thing repeats again.
Anyone have any idea what this could be?
It's definitely not my laptop, it has the minimum requirements.

Can you save the config file? If you can, then each time before you play you could just drag and drop it into your sims folder and have the correct settings. Maybe someone here will know of a more permanent fix but that is what I would do until I figured out what was causing it.

Yeah, already doing that, but I honestly long for a permanent fix.

Can you post your DxDiag. Might be able to help with some more details of your system.
