Default Texturing Problem
Hi!
I don´t know where to post this, it´s about Milkshape 3D.
I have a problem with texturing+exporting. Either it´s my own fault, or Milkshape 3D´s, (but, it´s probably the first).
When I regroup the groups with assigned textures, and then export it to WSO file, the Sims lower body gets the same texture as the clothes(skirt and underwears texture).
The same happens in TSR Workshop, the whole body gets the skirt texture when importing a DDS file (in the multiplier area?).
I feel so retarded... I can´t do this by my own...
It´s so confusing about normal, diffuse and specular map? (Bumpmap too?) I want to know how to texture it properly!
Please tell me how to do it! (I´m a noob, so take it carefully with me!)

Default Multiple Textures
Hi again!
The problem with the wrong textures was solved.
But there is one more problem, how do I make multiple textures that´s recolorable in TSR Workshop and in game?
In my case, it´s a black and teal pleated skirt and panties.
The black skirt with teal (hem?) and the panties should have at least three channels, one to the black part, one to the teal part and one to the panties.
It´s the multiplier texture i want to create to my mesh.
Is the multiplier colored? Grayscale?
How do I do it?
I have Milkshape 3D as mentioned above and GIMP.
Please help and answer me if you know how to do it!
I have been searching all over the internet, but no good answers...
I tried to upload the textures, but the file size were to big.

Default Anyone?
Hello?

Someone should have ecountered this before with multiple textures on one mesh.
Because of this, I gonna upload some DDS. files to see if you would answer me.
Please! I really need your help, I´m stuck on this part!
Don´t be so shy. I would accept if you were telling me that my english is horrible, and not understandable.

Thank you...

Default Multiple Textures
Hi!

Okay, so far I have managed to get hairstyles with EA Textures into my game. (Credit to Murfeel)
But that´s not the subject.
The subjects is how to assign(?) multiple textures on their right places on the mesh in TSR Workshop.
In my case for example, I have shorts with a belt on the waist.
The original color on the shorts is black, the original color on the belt is orange and yellow.
What I want is to have one channel for the shorts, two channel for the belt, one to the orange part and one to the yellow part.
The problem is how to use multiple textures on one mesh.
When I take my textures to TSR Workshop the whole mesh gets one color.
(Both the shorts and the belt.)
Please Help!

It sounds like you haven't adjusted the UV map of your mesh. Maybe this thread will help.

Default Alpha Skirt
Thanks kuroineko05!

I know how to fix the UV map know.
When I wrote the first post I was a noob back then.
But there is a problem, many of the female characters clothes I mesh have skirts with panties.
I´m not a pervert, but I want it to be realistic, unlike some EA skirts.
It isn´t neccesary, but, I really want to get textures to fit on TWO meshgroups.
Is it possible to do a Alpha Skirt with The Sims 3?
Are there any tutorials for The Sims 3?
I know it is possible in The Sims 2, I saw a tutorial here on ModTheSims.
I really want to know how to do an Alpha Skirt!

Thanks in advanced.
