This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default Sims 3 crashing to desktop
Can't find a fix for this problem. I need help!!
So far I have updated all my drivers [ including sound and graphic card] and I tried playing in wondowed mode..
Is anyone else have the problem where the game crashes to the desktop?
And maybe is there a possible fix?

I'm moving this to Game Help. To help the helpers, please provide your system specs, identify any mods you have in your game, and confirm whether you have patched your game.

system specs
Vista home premium 64 bit
pentium dual core CPU E5200 @ 2.5 ghz
6 gb ram
640 gb harddrive
intel x3100

-the only mod i have is CAS slider hack
-And i have patched the game.. crashed at loading when i tried without the patch now during live mode with patch

- crashes are random to desktop
