This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Would The Sims 2 Benefit From Being Installed on an SSD?
I understand that The Sims 3 does because of the way the game is but I don't know about The Sims 2. I recently got an SSD and don't know whether to install it there or onto my hard drive.

SSD disks make everything, including Sims 2, load faster due to the way they're made. It's really noticeable if you have huge amounts of CC. I mean, if you can install your game there, why not? Probably every program benefits when installed into a SSD.

Would you happen to know of a good tutorial/how to, about doing this ? I have 2 SSD's, and I own TS2-TS3 & TS4, but no knowledge whatsoever about attempting this.

Thank you! I knew it would load faster, I just didn't know if it was really noticeable or not/worth the space (I have 200 GB left, I think I can manage)
Now what dammit?

Maybe something like this:

Though read the caveats there.

Another thing that would probably help is to move My Documents onto the SSD drive since that's where all your CC is. That's a much more straightforward process and you can Google for that too.
