Throw the keg into family inventory so your sim can't grab a pull when you're not looking? I mean, some sims just seem to have a propensity for abusing the keg. Maybe it's genetic or something...................

This reminds me to a problem in my game. None of my sims have kegs at their house. In fact keg doesn't exist in the world but they still get the moodlet. Worse, the juiced moodlet gives +239 so my sim (only some sims, not all) is always elated, despite using hard to please mod. Removing it will fix it temporarily, it'll always come back after that, if I switched household. Well okay there's one at the beach but no one goes there, I might need to remove that and see if it goes away forever.

But has anyone else experienced this?

It is an EA bug and there is no way to elegantly stop it completely but limiting those bars, kegs and the juice bars at the Gym and/or who can use them helps a bit. This can be done using Retuner> Objects settings. Set the Autonomous use of JuiceKeg, Bars and Nectar to False and/or limit who can use them.

The moodlets can also be temporarily removed/disabled for your town using MC>Sims>Intermediate>Moodlets>Remove Moodlet>Homeworld>All> BUT next time you reload they are likely to return.

I did find by changing the settings in Retuner I saw less of the juiced moodlets and at least they can be disabled in a current game using MC if they really get on your nerves

Well, yeah for now I just remove them using MC. It only bothers me when sims are too happy, I guess. Thanks. I didn't know they get it from juice bars as well.

Solutions found:

1. If there's a keg at the beach, delete it or put it to your family inv.
2. Deal with it and wait. You may make fun of it.

2 1/2. Restart the game, I guess?

Can someone kindly make a recap of the problem for me?
The +239 mood boost is the issue or there's something else?

EDIT: can't reproduce the +239 mood issue.

I'm not too sure whether OP is actually having a problem or just encountering the default (but questionable) behaviour of the game. Since Seasons inactive Sims are given random moodlets by the game: Feeling Chilly, Feeling Warm (Seasons) and the various University Life moodlets regarding study and juicedness. They will receive these moodlets from the game regardless of whether there are any objects in the world that might be causing them. I've often also found them feeling chilly in summer or warm in winter, too. Usually one wouldn't notice if one played only one household, because the active family is not subject to this and will only get these moodlets if they actually are juiced, overworked or warm or cold. Thus you will only encounter this if you change households during a game (with either NRaas or AwesomeMod, for example). The only noticeable change in inactive Sims is that if they are juiced they will act accordingly and perform random juiced embraces, kisses or jumping into arms (they seem to stop at juiced woohoo, however). And this might be annoying even if you don't care what moodlets inactives carry around.
The +239 value I haven't seen myself yet, though.

ETA: If inactives are elated or in an extremely good mood this doesn't have any consequences for them, by the way, in an unmodded game, because they won't receive any lifetime happiness points from happiness. As far as I know it's only with AwesomeMod that they will collect points, too, from being in a good mood. I don't even know whether their mood has any consequences on their autonomous behaviour other than that Sims in a bad mood are more likely to react badly to socialising attempts or that juiced Sims will perform juiced actions, like described above..

ETA: I just read the thread again and it sounds as if the actively played Sims get these moodlets in OP's game randomly. Now that is not normal.

Thanks Don_Babylon. I did a quick research.

"Juiced" is a motive, a decaying one, just like "hungry", but not as important of course.
The default value is -100 and it carries no penalties whatsoever.
The value of the motive increases when Sims drink juice (and maybe also when you do
something else, if I cared to know I'd check all ITUNs that modify it).
When said value is in a certain range, Sims will get specific moodlets (for those
interested, check the _XML resource called "Motives" and search for "juiced").

Now, are the problems discussed here (assuming they are actually problems) shared
by all players with UL or specific to some users? If the latter, then probably a mod is
responsible (or anyway a messed-up sim/game). If the former, let me know because
maybe I can do something about it.

EDIT:
If this was an innocent/casual discussion about this subject, then I apologize for
misreading it and bringing boring technical details ^^

I change household quite often, so I see this moodlet a lot. I do think it's a normal behaviour by the game, but the mood boost was probably a glitch. Normally though these moodlets doesn't go away if I didn't ctrl right click(? I can't remember atm) so active sim/household is eternally elated. But, it's no big deal.

It goes away with that but I think testingcheatsenabled has to be on.

When I occasionally check to see what's up with my non-actives, many are Juiced or Super Juiced, likely caused by having quick drinks because I don't add the juice keg to the towns I play most often.

I don't mind them being juiced, but I did tire quickly of seeing those juiced make-out sessions in all towns. It didn't matter whether they were romantic beforehand or not, and attraction orientation didn't matter either. It was like, "You have lips, I must crush them with mine!" I started using bluegenjutsu's No Juiced Buff Romance Attacks and all that nonsense stopped.

It goes away if I ctrl click, but doesn't if I don't ctrl click thing it. I'm not saying ctrl clicking it doesn't work.

I almost never see my sims juice kiss or woohoo or anything before though, so apparently in my game the juiced moodlet doesn't do much. But thanks for the link, I'll try and see if it helps with the moodlet being on too many people.

As Arsil found out, being juiced is a (hidden) motive, like Energy or Fun, so clicking the moodlet won't do much and the game will continue to randomly set that motive for inactives to random values. Unless I understand this wrong the moodlet is tied to the motive and will appear once a certain threshold is met, like the Squeaky Clean moodlet that Sims receive once their Hygiene is at 100. One would have to change the conditions that have to be met for the moodlet to appear, like Juiced appearing at 150 "juicedness" to make it vanish completely. But then actives won't get juiced anymore either.

I hate to resurrect this thread, but I'm having the same problem. Whenever I switch to another family, it seems as though at least one (sometimes more) of the sims in the family permanently have the "juiced" and "studyholic" moodlets. I've tried deleting them using cheats, but they keep reoccuring. It's not really a massive issue, it's just a bit annoying to have them clutter my sim's moodlet bar.

There's a mod by spladoum here at MTS that addresses the juiced motive/moodlets.
NRaas Overwatch, maybe not the last official version but the testing one, should take care of that too.

Overwatch v120, released on May 5, is an attempt at reeling back the motive/moodlets.
Overwatch v121, currently in testing, does a better job of it.

Uni World is exempted in both versions.
