I just want to know if anyone has ever tried to convert a sims 3 trees to sims 2 cause i do love lucky palms trees?

There are creators who have converted plants - here you find palm trees by Trapping/Lina :http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=460053

and Veranka has converted a bunch of plants, though I am not sure about trees

I think there is a database somewhere - Sims3 to 2 conversions

I will definitely download that palm tree and I don't know where to really look on Verankas blog for the 3t2 plants, Thank you

I'll give it a try, I can never find anything when i google it but i'll look through Veranka :J

Most of the more leafy plants and bushes aren't made the same way as TS2 plants, in that TS2 use regular meshes, but TS3 uses a bunch of always front-facing planes for the foliage, and perhaps some particle emitter or some other form of putting the foliage on the trees in addition. You probably won't find those as conversions.

I believe it was hard to convert trees, bushes and such to TS2 because the meshes could only be opened in some really expensive 3D program called Speedtree.
