From your description, it almost seems like the devs thought the opportunity checks were the other way around: excluding those with inappropriate subworld tags, then rolling the remaining, which would have made the IFT opportunities override the other skill opportunities in Oasis Landing only.

Thanks for this, though, I can see how that would be problematic!

Thanks for this! Ya wanna know something? Although I've had ITF for quite a while now, for some odd reason I didn't even notice I hadn't really been getting opportunities much (if at all) since installing ITF. But right now I am absolutely hankering for one of my Child Sims to write an autobiography before he becomes a teen (I'm weird, I know lol) so this will definitely help with that and now I may not have to use MC to force the opportunity after all!

Thank you! I didn't consider the existence of this bug until I was recently playing the inventor career and several weeks were going by in game with no phone call regarding the simbot opportunity. Now that you mention it I recall getting opportunities all the time before ITF..
