This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default How to get launcher to run regular Sims 2 not Sims 2 Store Edition?
I recently reinstalled my sims 2 and all my expansions, but for some reason whenever I click play the game runs the Store Edition of Sims 2. The problem with this is only two neighborhoods are showing up! So how can I get the launcher to run regular Sims 2 with expansions instead of Sims 2 Store Edition which appears to be some sort of demo for Sims 2 that stores can use, I assume. I tried searching for it, too, under programs to uninstall it but it's not there. Please help, thank you!

The launcher stopped working long ago, after they shut the official site.

You need to do this with your latest EP

if you are saddled with Store Addition you must have it installed for your neighbourhoods to show up. It may be possible to install without it, which would be far better, but any hoods you made with it in will disappear.

Some how or another you installed the Store Edition and you may be able to uninstall it and it may work for you with out having to uninstall every EP/SP you have and doing a complete re-install.

The Store Edition comes with the 3 tri packs and some Double Deluxe and you need to make sure you uncheck it when you do a re-install of your game.(If you have to re-install.)

Also: it's not a demo, it's a version upgrade which was made to allow you to download DLC from EA's online Sims Store. So in that sense it's like an expansion pack, in that if you have it installed, you can't run the game without it.
