Ok guys, let's break BOTH of their arms ...

Have you got clumsy Sims?.....well I have, and they just got clumsier ... so I decided to give them TWO broken arms/wrists! (OK, they can still use their arms and hands, but in casts).

This download is the RIGHT arm....the LEFT Arm Cast can be found HERE

The LEG cast (clothing, not an accessory) can be found HERE

Polygon Count: 252 (=ok... )

It can be worn by child -> elder, both sexes and will work in ALL games.

This mesh-package file contains 7 different meshes - one for each age/sex.

This is because each age and sex (except children) all have different arm shapes... so there is a different mesh for Elders, Adults, Teens and children. However, they are all in one package file.

The zip download has three files - the mesh, the plain colour package plus a recolour of a 'written' on cast (because it's traditional in the UK for people to write things on plastercasts.)

The tooltip in CAS, BodyShop and the Accessories window for the plain white cast says "plain"...and the recoloured 'scribbled on' version says 'recolour'

(They look a bit odd in BodyShop, but that's because BodyShop is not animated - and they have their hands on their hips or straight out (who ever stands like that???)....I suggest you try them on 'in game' ....they look MUCH better...

This is fully recolourable, but please use the ADULT MALE one to make a recolour. Your newly made recolour will appear in all ages and sexes.

Note to recolour artists: This is a 'flipped' version of the left arm cast...consequently the texture file appears 'mirrored' on the cast. If you wish to make a recolour of writing on the cast, remember to 'mirror' or 'flip' the writing....but NOT the cast texture itself!

Please remember that many clothes are different meshes than the 'normal' body shape. Thick or unusual shaped clothes may mean that part(s) of the mesh will dissapear into them. This is normal.. Basically, they look best on sleeveless clothes.

This can be worn with any other accessory (Maxis, mine or anyone elses), and .... they will stay on when your Sims shower, swim or change clothing (like a real cast ...) ...and it's waterproof , so you can shower and swim with it on....

Please note: it is impossible to stop the Sims using their hands...and so I have assigned parts of the mesh to the hands and fingers. This means that the cast will 'bend' and therefore stop the hand from poking through the static mesh. I thought that this was better than having the hand in the 'wrong' position in relation to the cast. Usually, everything matches up but with extreme hand movements parts of the mesh may be slightly distored. This is normal.

Enjoy,...

Bob

(Thanks and stars always encourage me to make more... )

Recolours: Feel free to post here. Do not include the original mesh file in your recolours, .... please put a link back to here. Use the Adult Male to recolour and your recolour will appear in all ages and sexes.
