Halloween
What would be the scariest thing to find in an abandoned house?

for me: something supernatural like a ghost, or a zombie would be scary since that would freak me out.

I think I'd be most afraid of a room completely full of rodents or spiders or anything like that. They freak me out so much.

I'd personally be horrified and likely jump out of my skin to see a skeleton (whether real or not) fall from somewhere or appear in unexpected locations, like UNDER THE FLOORBOARDS WATCHING @_@

I'd also go with the skeleton -only a real one though, a fake one (you can usually tell when they're fake or not) wouldn't bug me, because it would just mean that other people have been in there before, and left it to try and freak others out- or other form of human corpse.

The person who "left" the corpse there.

The scary-ass hillbillies from either Deliverance or The Hills Have Eyes.

The cops -I don't really have the spare change to be dealing with a trespassing and/or breaking-and-entering charge (how else are you getting into that abandoned building, after all?).

Possibly Slenderman.

A mirror that pops out and says "the most dangerous animal"

but then, you see a tiger in the reflection behind you.

A psychopath. They actually exist, unlike ghosts, skeletons, and the like, and you can't always tell when you're looking at one.

Something that doesn't exist would be much scarier for me, because nobody would ever believe me if I tried to tell them why I was so freaked out.

I've been in an abandoned house so most definitely another person, alive or dead.

Uh, well since I'm afraid of the dark... just simply being in the house would make me poo myself in sheer terror; especially since abandoned houses tend to creak and such on their own (without anything having to be there)... yeah, nightmare fuel. Goodness, I'm a wuss.

I'd be fine in an abandoned house. Might start cleaning everything and trying to fit it with fresh curtains. I'm OCD like that.

But I'd freak the hell out if a spider fell on my head or something.

I'd also be really scared if I thought I was alone and then someone appeared behind me.

I'd be more afraid in an abandoned subway or something.

I've always wanted to go urban spelunking but I'm a wuss.

Same for me. I'm not afraid of spiders and stuff, but that would scare to death ^^
