Default question about installing Sims 3
I know Sid Mire hasn't been a part of the Sim Family in years. But, having purchased Civ 5 only to discover I couldn't install it has made me Leary of anything that says we have to have Origin to install. I know can buy the game on a disk, but is it just the program to download it, or is the game actually on the disks. I know most people wouldn't be concerned but out here in the middle of nowhere, we still can't get anything but dial up.

Its about TS4, I'm needing to know if it installs from the disk like TS3 did or if it only pretends to like Civ5.

The game is actually on the disk, but you still need Origin installed to "activate" the game. It's a one-time thing, though. You don't have to stay connected or anything.
