Default CAW - memory crash
Hello!

I've looked through the forum already, and nothing i tried out worked. So I thought I'd try to explain my problem for you guys, as you've been able to help a lot of other people In advance; english is my second language, and I haven't used it properly for years, so please ignore my terrible grammar.

So, I tried playing Enekjaer, a world created by Fagersim, but as I don't have Supernatural installed and she used a bridge from Supernatural, I get routing problems. Therefore I decied to edit it in CAW and place a bridge there myself. But, when trying to open the .world file, I get the protected memory crash:

What I've tried so far:
I reinstalled CAW before downloading the world again, didn't work.
Deleted CAW-cache. Didn't work.
Removed Sims3pack-files and .package files. Didn't work.
Tried out this; http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/244150.page ("App can handle >2GB address space" was already ticked. So i unticked, and ticked again to be sure. Still didn't work.

So, does anyone have any good solutions for me? I've been able to use CAW without much trouble earlier, so I find it weird that this particular world causes so many problems. I'm using a pretty up to date computer, 8 gb, 65 bit.

Well, you don't have to build the world again. I think it says so, because the file (Enekjaer) might be protected somehow, but I can't tell for sure. I have not seen an error like it One thing you could do, is to just load the game Enekjaer, and then open "Edit Town" -> World editor and put a bridge from there. It will not be the supernatural bridge, but another one from your bin. Have you tried this? I'm sure it will work

Placing bridge in Edit town -mode doesn't really work, since you cannot rebuild the routing data in edit town, only in caw. And one should really rebuild the routing data after making any changes to roads.

Emilie: Firstly, welcome aboard. Secondly, you might have had a better luck in the CAW section... http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=616
Have you checked the thread about editing premade worlds? It could be helpful: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=469942
