So besides being obsessed with the sims (as most of us are here) another of my (past-- but now coming back) video game loves is/was Zoo Tycoon 2!!! At one point my mom and i had the desktop and her laptop going with zoos and we would only talk to like eat, and then go back to zoo-ing  Anyways, I always enjoyed playing in sandbox mode with as much money as i wanted (MWAHAHAHA) and building crazy long jeep paths just so I could ride them in person mode (or visitor... something like that) Anyone else play ZT2? (or have played) Do you have any crazy/funny stories about it?

I used to play that game ALL THE TIME. It was my first REAL computer game (before I got Sims) and I was addicted.

@LuvSims2011- I'm glad I'm not the only one... i would just leave it run all day especially if I was in the chalenge mode and i ran out of money for my ginormous jeep paths... I kind of want to pick it up again..... Sims refuse to cooperate as of now so I have to find a new game |

I STILL play ZT2 to this day. I have downloaded so many animals and objects and everything. I'm hoping that one day, I can build "My Perfect Zoo." |

They're beautiful! Personally, I love wolves, they are one of my favorite animals  If you don't mind my asking, is there a program to do that with? Or do you use photoshop like the sims?

Never played the sequel, yet I've played the first game in the series. Zoo tycoon is a fun series, but it's not as high on my list of favorites simulators as TS, SC, RCT and GT is. |

Oh my goodness, I LOVED Zoo Tycoon 2! Me and my friend Amanda used to get home from school and sit for hours playing it together, taking turns on the campaign mode, good times. I vaguely remember you could rename the visitors and zoo keepers, and we changed all the names to match our friends and family =/ |

I never played Zoo Tycoon 2 but I had the complete collection and I loved it! In fact, i found it kinda funny when I saw this thread because I told my husband just yesterday that I needed to find that game because I wanted to play it again!
