Question about organising cc in Mod Folder
Hello! This past few days I have been trying to organise and categorise my Mod Folder and I have folders named Buy, Build CAS and Modifications, in those I have subfolders as well. I tried to organise and categorise my mod folder before, but it did not want to show up in the game, which was a disappointment and there for i took all the folders off and put all the files in the Mod folder and then it was no longer organised, then it loaded the cc. So my question is, what did i do wrong, why did it not show up in the game. Do I have to copy the resource.cgi file in every folder in the Mod folder? Or do i need to have the ccmerged. package file in every subfolders in the mod folder...Please help me figure out this, would bee nice to have things organised in my Mod folder to easily find the packages when needed and so it looks better.

Have you seen this? http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?tit...Setup_and_Files (if you don't already have the framework)
Same question (with an answer) here: http://modthesims.info/t/370244
The resource.cfg file in your "Documents/.../The Sims 3/Mods" folder should have a list like this, and if it doesn't, you may have to look into it. There's more info in the second link above.
..
PackedFile Mods/Packages/*.package
PackedFile Mods/Packages/*/*.package
PackedFile Mods/Packages/*/*/*.package
PackedFile Mods/Packages/*/*/*/*.package

Thanks, i look in to it later. I need to convert my sims3packs to packages first....I will let you know if it works or not later when I am done organising the mod folder...

sims3pack files can go into the "...Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads" directory. Not all sims3pack files should be converted to package, so keep a copy until you've tested them ingame.
