Default Pets Stories Hood at before the Stories Start.
Pet Stories Hood at before the story start without all the story stuff getting in the way. They will play just like the Free Play hood.

Put them in C:\Users\(Your Computer Name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims™ Pet Stories\Neighborhoods and they will go into rotation and you can now play them without the story stuff getting in the way.

I have renumbered them to N051 and N052.
Best in Show in numbered N051.
Midnight Masquerade is numbered N052.

These will, I repeat will work in Sims 2 as long as you have Pets EP installed.

ADD: To get the special reward objects you must play the 2 Stories first.

Thank you for this! Can you do the same for the Castaway Stories too? Because there's a sim who's going to be deleted by default.
I don't know his name but he's starving. If you leave the lot, he'll be lost with his tombstone and will never come back.

EDIT: His name is Bart Pittman http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Bart_Pittman
By default, the game deletes him when you leave the lot.

I just teleport him to me before the story ends and save him that way.

I will try and see if i can get it to work.

ADD: @Jawusa For Castaway Stories it seems that there are blocks in place that block you from doing any thing in the main hood even if you renumber it to N002 or any other number it loads but it loads to 1 lot and the only travel you can do is to the lagoon. Build mode is blocked to and you can not go to hood view at all.

Oh, that's sad. So I have to complete the entire story. It takes quite long. I think it's the longest story ever. But anyway, thanks for trying it at least.

Using AGS with only Seasons using a empty stealth hood of yours (@Jawusa) attaching it to Pleasantview and putting it in Castaway Neighborhood folder like the other ones are and it works.
It does have flashing blue roads but still it works.

Flashing blue means, the game cannot find/read the texture and replace the texture with a flashing blue one.
Can you please download a default road texture mod and test it, if the road is still flashing blue?

Roads can be removed with Moo's HoodReplace tool. But I thought TSCS can only handle medium maps and not tiny maps and doesn't TSCS have an entirely different engine as TS2?

These are great thanks, ever since I rediscovered the Sims I've been wanting to play the Stories hoods and ultimately perhaps incorporate them into my megahood. A few queries though;
1. Can you also add the file for Arbor Falls.
2. Can these be transformed into subhoods in the same manner as normal using the wonderful Mootilda's method (which I have used before).
3. There are missing objects/ floor tiles/ wallpapers. I particularly noticed that there's loads of dog training equipment missing on all the community lots in Garden Heights, and blank walls in a few Mesa Falls homes. I presume these were objects unique to Pets Stories. Is there anyway I can download them such that the game recognises them and fills in the blanks as it were?
4. Is there any way to get the Life Stories hoods in the same way? I know the Hood Building Group has made some lovely recreations but they're missing all the townies, and although most people hate townies, I love them, use them in my story telling and like to have the "right" townies for each neighbourhood, ie the ones that ship with the hood. Is there any easy way to add them to the Hood Building Group versions, or else transfer the original hoods, with the townies in, from Life Stories? (This is also a problem for me with the otherwise great clean hoods by meetme2theriver.)

PS sorry for resurrecting a dead thread, but from what I can see on the forum you know all about this stuff.

These should only be used in the Pet Stories game for they have some changes to the sims that is not in the Sims 2.

They removed the elder life stage so in the Sims 2 when aging up to elder they can and will change there looks.

Just to let you know I am one of the members of the HBG.

Each story game has a lot of walls and floors that are not in the Sims 2 and will need to be replaced.

Now if the changes don't bother you then yes and can play them in the Sims 2 as for turning them into sub-hoods I don't know at this time.
