DrivewayRecoloring Tutorials??
Maxis didn't make curved driveways, for reasons unknown, but if someone could give me a recoloring tutorial SPECIFICALLY for driveways then that would be great.

Basic outlines of what I need to know how to do:
recolor the main face of the driveway so that it appeares to be curved (see attachment).
work it and make it useable in the game.

Once I get started and can recolorthe driveway piece I can make custom colored pieces for people that ask!

Why not just use the invisible driveway recolour and terrain paints? You can create the illusion of a curved driveway that way (or before you put the driveway down, put down small fences and fill them with floor tiles). I would way rather have the versatility of being able to use any terrain paint or floor tile than to have a ton of recolours of the driveway.
There's not going to be a tutorial specifically on recolouring driveways, and there's no way of telling whether the driveway is even mapped to do what you want it to do. It's possible that the pieces in the center repeat, so you may not be able to recolour curved - solid or nothing. I have a tutorial on exporting uv maps to make better recolours - it's written for clothing but works essentially the same for objects. That would be your first step. Other than that Numenor's tutorial on recolouring with Object Workshop should be sufficient. You'd use a transparent PNG to test a curved driveway and use a DXT setting of 3 to retain the transparency when importing your texture.
