Some email providers are very zealous about their spam filters and sometimes don't even let them through to the junk folder. That's my best guess as to what may be going on.

Still getting the can't find site error and got this when I tried to troubleshoot.

I can't say this'll actually work as a lot of forums will block these emails, but there's a number of services that provide a temporary email that works for ten or twenty minutes - enough time to receive the confirmation and get into the forum. This isn't an ideal situation, admittedly -- if you lose your password, you're likely screwed, and you're going to need a new username. Google 'ten minute email' and you'll get a couple of them.

It's an adaptation of the Jasana Bugbreeder one but has double seats instead of single. A nice expansion.

I adore this one, and so far it's done wonders for my neighborhood


Bottom line - proceed with caution. Spawning the adult NPCs who should really be elders (or, for that matter, a female butler - tested in one of my previous hoods) means that they won't have their usual uniforms, which may lead to... interesting results.

Friendly reminder about linking to adult sites (pertaining to MambaCity in this thread, but also the general rule): you may link to the site as long as there's a marker in your post stating that the link goes to an 18+ site. However, the link may not go to a page that contains nudity.

Have just stumbled on this thread to hear that BAS is no more - what an absolute shame; I spent quite some time at that site (ahem, shifty eyes)
That said, thank you smorbie for the links to Chris' downloads - will be going through them and downloading what I can, and a huge thank you to Chris Hatch himself for having such a flexible TOU and for creating these amazing mods in the first place..

Inside there's an instruction named 'The Globe.mht' which should open in your browser, it contains Box.net links as well as instructions for all of the things that use the globe like visit other sims, childcare centres and the hospital mod upgrade file etc.

The hospital mod is currently getting a bit of a re-vamp because in some versions the nurse and doctor outfits requires meshes from Back alley and to make it compatible with those Global Overrides.

It's getting a bit complicated this way.
So I have the hospital mod already. Then I also need CJH_GlobalOverrides(Pets+) from the link you gave me and CJH_Hospital&Visit-AL+ from the link Smorbie1 provides in the first post?

To avoid complication I don't mind to skip the hospital mod.

Well, I tried. I said I wasn't sure A&N transferred right since it's actually an expansion and not just a mod or piece of cc. That's why I asked people to try everything while BAS was still up and running. At this point what we have is what we have. Maybe Chris will make his expansions available on his new site.

I tried to transfer A&N to someone using my private email account and wasn't able to get it to go there, either. I'm sorry. I do have both of his expansion packs and am more than willing to share; I just don't know how to do it.

BAS doesn't exist anymore, so your password won't do anything. Chris Hatch's mods are now on a new site.

No idea, sorry. I can't even get onto the site. Other people have had the same problem with never getting the activation email. I'm not sure what they did.

I do, but Mamba City is an adult site so I can't/won't give a link.

All files will now have to be placed on a file hosting site, either box.net or Sims File Share so I will be able to give you direct links to any of the non-adult files.

I've been trying to find Chris Hatch's "true nude in CAS" mod for Sims 2, which was at BAS. I have searched the Mamba site and did not find it there. Does anyone know where it might be found? I would like to be able to check skin tone on my sims while they are in CAS.

Maybe try a WCIF for that item. I doubt many people will see the request posted here. I know I don't have it archived and I don't have it in my personal cc, either, or I would share.

I would move the post for you, but I think a mod has to do it. Meanwhile, Chris checks in here a good bit. He's a great guy, very helpful and responsive, so you might want to send him a p.m. Otherwise, he has his new stuff over at Mamba City. It's an adult site and requires registration, but you might want to check over there, too.
