Default Create-A-World Thumbnail?
I've made my own world with The Sims 3: Create a World Tool. All I have to do is required thumbnail. It must be 256 by 356 PNG 24 bit color. Thanks.

You'll need a graphics program that can output 24 bit PNG. Photoshop qualifies, not sure what other editors do (I gather some folks have had to convert with e.g. Irfanview to get 24 bits).

Take an attractive screenshot of your town, paste it into your graphics app, crop it square, resize to 256x256, save as PNG, and voila.

As a work around so I could test out my island I browsed through the CAW files til I found one and used that. It was basically their icon.
